Punjabi No 1 was established 2000 and is a group for children from age 8-14 years. Children from all nationalities are invited to join the group. Punjabi No 1 very much aims to be a multicultural group to portray different music styles, and bring different cultures together.

Punjabi No 1 regularly perform at major events throughout the country, such as Mela Glasgow and Edinburgh Mela, and have performed internationally too.

We have just improved the appearance of the Scottish Photographic Federation website in April 2006 and added a complex content management system to the site as well as compacted available content so that information is found with the least number of clicks possible.

The Scottish Photographic Federation is one of the oldest Photographic Federations in Great Britain and has been around for more than 100 years. The Federation offers photographic services and advice to its member clubs and organise national and international competitions.

The Scottish Photographic Salon is organised and run by the Scottish Photographic Federation. The Scottish Salon, Scotland's only Print and Slide Salon, is an annual internationl photographic exhibition and competition. This year (2005), the Scottish Salon takes place for the 86th time! In 2003, over 3000 prints and slides by 631 authors from 51 countries were received. The photographs are judged by a panel of international judges and the best photographs (around 500-800) are then exhibited in a Scottish Venue.

SPLAT currently consists of seven local art groups: Bathgate Camera Club, Livingston Arts Assocation, Livingston Camera Club, Low Port Art Group, Mid Calder Camera Club, Whitburn Amateur Art Club, Winchburgh Evening Art Group. SPLAT is supported by the Scottish Arts Council, West Lothian Council and the Strathbrock Partnership Centre in Broxburn.

Representatives of each of these independent groups have been working together for more than a year to realise their dream of a busy, exciting, permanent gallery and exhibition space in the Strathbrock Partnership Centre in Broxburn.
