CreatWeb - Web Design West Lothian
Any good marketing consultant would tell you that, in today's market, the most important selling tool is your website. More and more people are using the internet to find suppliers of goods and services and websites now form the most popular means of communication with potential customers.
The following figures give you some idea of your potential market. 29 million people - 63% of the adult population of the UK - now use the Internet (source: National Statistics, February 2006). 83% (c 23 million) of those use the Internet at home. This number is likely to grow as technology allows more people to work from home. About 20 million Internet users in the UK bought or ordered goods and/or services online.
Not only does a website allow you to reach local markets - such as customers in West Lothian for example - but also worldwide markets. It provides a service to all those potential customers who access your website. No other marketing medium offers this flexibility.
A website is now the most cost-effective method of promoting your business - and it does it 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.

The development of the website was heavily supported by the Regal Theatre Board of Directors, and in particular by Alison Mackenzie, Regal Development Officer, who has contributed lots of her time and energy to make the website as sparkling as it is.
CreatWeb client Entrotec wins Runner-Up award
for Best Online Experience

Entrotec
At the West Lothian E-Business Awards on 5th October 2006, Entrotec (UK manufacturer of Door Entry Systems) received the Runner-Up award for Best Customer Experience Online. The judges were very impressed with the Entrotec website. Entrotec were commended on the stickiness of their website as well as the richness of information in their online product catalogue. The Entrotec website utilises a Content Management System, which allows Entrotec to update the website as often as required - without the need to contact a web developer.
The judges confirmed that Entrotec deal with a very specialised market and that the website is very targeted. They also said that they initially did not know much about door entry systems, but after a browse on the Entrotec website, they quickly realised the amount of information that is available online.
Since the new website went live in November 2005, Entrotec website visitors have increased steadily and many enquiries are now made online.
CreatWeb congratulates Entrotec on their award and their continuing success.
Watch out! - Domain Registration of America - SCAM
A company called "Domain Registry of America" (DROA) is targeting customers of all domain providers with deceptive early renewal reminders by post. Usually, the domain name owner will receive a letter asking them to renew their domain name. When you sign such a letter and provide payment details, you will actually move your domain name to a different provider. If you are in doubt about your domain name renewal, please contact CreatWeb and we will happily provide information about your actual domain name registration company.
